The story of the Titanic comes to life in Málaga. La Leyenda del Titanic (The Legend of the Titanic), the immersive exhibition, is open at Espacio Sohrlin until 5 January 2027, and it’s one of the best days out on the Costa del Sol this winter.
An Award-Winning Immersive Exhibition
The Legend of the Titanic has won three Telly Awards and a Gold Eventex, and was the most awarded immersive exhibition of 2025. It’s produced by MAD Artes Digitales, the studio behind the immersive exhibitions Tutankhamun, The Last Days of Pompeii, Cleopatra and The Odyssey, which have welcomed more than 5 million visitors.
What’s Inside
The visit takes about 80 minutes and combines various experiences in a single ticket:
- Original objects from the White Star Line, the company behind the Titanic, with the stories of real passengers, including the Spaniards on board.
- Virtual reality with 360° sound, recreating the last moments of the Titanic’s orchestra, the band who kept playing as the ship went down.
- A giant 360° room with more than 1,200 m² of projections, following Arthur and Elizabeth Callaghan on their voyage.
- An interactive metaverse room where you explore the wreck and tour the ship as it was in 1912, from the Grand Salon to the Café Parisien.
