ARCH Spring & Autumn Fest: Help Rescued Horses Get a Second Chance

2 min read

ARCH Autumn Festival poster: postponed to Sunday 25 October, Alhaurín el Grande

Chilli FM is proud to support ARCH, the Andalusian Rescue Centre for Horses, as our nominated charity. Twice a year, in spring and in autumn, ARCH holds a family fest to raise money for its rescued horses, ponies and donkeys, and we’d love to see our listeners there.

Next fest: Spring 2027

The date of the ARCH Spring Fest 2027 will be announced soon. Keep listening to Chilli FM and check back here for the date, time and place.

A family day out with a purpose

ARCH’s fests usually run from morning to mid-afternoon in Alhaurín el Grande, and there’s plenty to keep everyone busy, from kids to grandparents to the family dog.

The highlight for many is the Fun Dog Show, with categories such as Best Fancy Dress, Happiest Dog, an Obstacle Race and the ever-popular Temptation Alley, where dogs must walk past tempting treats without stopping. There’s live music and dance, paella, food and drinks, an artisan market, ARCH merchandise, second-hand horse tack and equestrian items, and of course a raffle.

It’s also a great chance to meet the ARCH team and hear first-hand about their rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work.

Autumn Fest 2026: thank you!

A big thank you to everyone who came to the Autumn Fest at Viña Borrego in Alhaurín el Grande on Sunday 25 October 2026, to guitarist Sandrito el Roble, the DKPop Dance Group and Rayo Can Canine Sports Club, and to the supporters who made the day possible: Ayuntamiento de Alhaurín el Grande, Sultán Hípica, Saracen Horse Feeds and Mediterranean Homes.

Why ARCH matters

Since 2009, ARCH has been changing the lives of horses, ponies and donkeys across Andalucía. Many arrive through SEPRONA and local police, often after abandonment, neglect or abuse. At ARCH they receive the care and rehabilitation they need, with the aim of finding them a loving, suitable forever home. The charity is officially recognised as an association of public utility (Utilidad Pública) by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior. Read more about why Chilli FM supports ARCH.

Rescue work is expensive. Hay, feed, veterinary treatment and everyday care add up quickly, and ARCH depends on donations, fundraising days like its fests, and its dedicated volunteers to keep going.

Every contribution counts. Just €30 pays for deworming one horse, and €80 covers a dental check.

Can’t wait for the next fest?
